Pokok – Pokok Pikiran
1. Bahwa kethoprak adalah kesenian tradisional yang perlu dilestarikan karena merupakan seni budaya warisan leluhur yang mempunyai nilai-nilai hakiki dalam pembentukan watak kepribadian bangsa.
2. Bahwa kethoprak selaras dengan fungsinya mempunyai daya guna, tidak hanya sebagai hiburan semata namun sebagai media pendidikan.
Dasar
Program Dewan Kesenian Semarang dan Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang tahun Anggaran 2010.
Tujuan
1. Memberikan wadah untuk aktifitas dan kreatifitas bagi para seniman kethoprak dalam menyalurkan bakatnya melalui festival.
2. Mempresentasikan ide gagasan, garapan dan kemasan dengan harapan bisa dijadikan sarana apresiatif yang tertuang dalam bentuk Seni Kethoprak di tengah masyarakat / penonton.
Pelaksanaan
1. Peserta : Grup Kethoprak di Kota Semarang.
2. Tiap Kontingen berjumlah maksimal 30 orang.
3. Materi lakon bebas.
4. Judul dan Sinopsis diserahkan kepada Panitia saat Temu Teknik.
5. Durasi penampilan 50 menit persiapan 10 menit.
6. Waktu dan tempat pendaftaran :
a. Waktu sejak beredarnya surat ini s/d 30 Juli 2010 (saat temu teknik)

CumLaude Concert Series present you only the highest quality of musicians performing the highest quality of classical music. For our very first concert which will take place on Wednesday, July 14th at 8 p.m we have the honour of presenting you the amazing young musicians Elwin Hendrijanto and John Paul playing the yet unperformed in Indonesia masterpieces by Frank Martin, Giulio Regondi, Nikolai Kapustin as well as a couple of works by Frederic Chopin (to commemorate his 200th anniversary this year) and also the first performance in Indonesia of my own virtuoso piece for guitar solo "The 5 lovers of Drupadi", commissioned by Spanish prominent guitarist Miguel Trapaga and at the moment toured around Europe and Asia by him. I am proud to introduce them to the Indonesian classical music lovers. Hope to see you at Teater Kecil, TIM next Wednesday ! The artists :
ELWIN HENDRIJANTO ( Semarang, Indonesia 1986) graduated his Master Performance in Classical Piano with Distinction from Royal College of Music, London. His study was kindly supported by scholarships from Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds.
From year 2004 to 2008 he studied under DELTA scholarships at Utrecht Conservatorium and graduated Cum Laude 9+ for his Bmus Performance.
He performs both in Europe and Indonesia as a soloist and studio-session artist. One of his recordings with composer Ezio Bosso was performed at Queen Elizabeth Hall. In 2010, he performed a recital in Victoria Albert.
On December 2003 he played his own arrangements with the SUPRA gamelan orchestra in front of Indonesian (ex) President Megawati in Jakarta Convention Center.
In year 2000 Elwin won the Excellent Player Awards of Yamaha Asia Electone Festival, Bangkok. And two years later in 2002, he won the first prize of CIPTA Award National Piano Competition.
JOHN PAUL discovered the classical guitar considerably late in life. Nevertheless, since completing his undergraduate studies in 2005, John Paul has been contributing to increasing the appreciation of classical music in Indonesia through performing in concerts, teaching and also through his monthly articles which have been published in popular magazines, currently NOW!Jakarta .
He has furthered his competence on his instrument through guitar studies with renowned guitarist Sudirman Leman Mag.Art, and master classes with Prof. Alvaro Pierri, Aniello Desiderio, Ana Vidovic, Thibault Cauvin, and Allesio Nebiolo. He recently attended the Koblenz International Guitar Festival in Germany where he had the opportunity to learn from many world class performers including Grammy-award-winning guitarists like David Russel, Sergio Assad and Odair Assad. He also performed in the masteclasses of Aniello Desiderio, Hubert Kaeppel and Zoran Dukic. He is currently on the guitar faculty of both Gitanada School of Music and Jakarta Conservatory of Music.
